Innovations Waiver services
The NC Innovations waiver provides essential services for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD including conditions like autism, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome. Open to all applicants regardless of age, income, or insurance, this covers a variety of home and community-based services. These services include assistance with daily activities, home and vehicle modifications, assistive, job coaching, consultations from I/DD specialists, crisis services, and support for caregivers. It's a comprehensive resource designed to enhance the quality of life for those in need.
day supports (individual & group)

Day Supports is a service for individuals aged 16 and older, focused enhancing socialization and daily living skills. It provides a meaningful day tailored to the Person Centered Plan (PCP) or Individual Support Plan (ISP) based on assessments like the Support Needs Assessment Profile (SNAP) and Supports Intensity Scale (SIS). While primarily facility-based, it emphasizes person-centered practices to balance on-site and community activities. "Facility-Based means services are provided in licensed Day or Adult Day Health facilities certified by NC.
